Certificate in Safe Food Preparation and Preventing Choking in Babies

Ensuring food is prepared safely in nurseries is essential to secure the health and safety of the children in your care. Steps need to be taken to prevent babies from choking, so it is important that nursery practitioners have an in-depth understanding of prevention techniques. However, not all incidents can be avoided, so it is just as vital that practitioners know exactly what to do when a baby is choking. 

Developed by first aider and emergency medical technician Samantha Kendall, this course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to prepare food safely in your setting, prevent babies from choking, and manage any incidents of choking.
